Poster Contest

Each year a poster contest is held for grades second through sixth at Reedsport schools. The Tsalila Partnership selects winners from each grade as well as honorable mentions. The art work from the Grand Winner is used for the poster and other advertisements for Tsalila. The winners are presented with certificates, framed copies of their art work and/or a savings bond.

The purpose of the contest is to help educate students about watersheds, the role of salmon in the web of life, and the relationship of humans to the natural environment. Congratulations to all the students who submitted colorful and creative artwork!
